I like that you are using a manual toggle switch, that will make it easy and safe to use while driving. Does this turn on the fan at high or low speed? The Z32 has a sophisticated programmable fan controller that works based on temperature, A/C status and three vehicle speed ranges. I'm amazed at how they fit so many features into such a tiny amount of ECU code (400 bytes!!). Incredibly efficient 8-bit programming, it's certainly a lost artform these days. Personally, I've been using software to adjust the fan controller via the ECU. There are a couple ways to go about it, either using Consult to turn on the fan with a diagnostics test, or reprogramming the ECU on the fly with Nistune or my own chip firmware upgrade.
